Can I share my membership with family or friends?
Yes. You can:

What does “transferable lifetime membership” mean?
You may transfer your membership, including all remaining years, to an immediate family member. This can
be done as a gift or through estate planning. You may also choose to abandon it at any time at no cost.

Savings & Value
What if I find a cheaper price somewhere else?
We guarantee the lowest rate. If you ever find a lower price, simply send us a screenshot and we’ll credit you 110% of the difference.
What kinds of savings can I expect on hotels, cruises, and condos?
Public sites add a markup above wholesale. We don’t. Members typically save 30–50% on vacations. Savings over 80% are possible but not typical.

Travel Inventory
Are flights discounted too?
No. U.S. airfare pricing is regulated, so discounts aren’t possible. We do provide a flight booking tool for convenience.
Are there blackout dates or seasonal restrictions?
No. If a property has availability directly, you can book it with us.
How many destinations are covered?
About 2 million hotels, resorts, cruises, and more. Comparable to sites like Expedia or Booking.com.

Using Beacon
How do I search and book travel?
Use our portal at beacon.travel. It works like any other booking site, but with wholesale prices.
How fast is customer support if I need help?
Our concierge team is available 24/7 for planning, booking, and changes. General support is available during business hours (Pacific time) for logins, dues, and account issues, almost always resolved within one business day.
What is the concierge service and what can they do for me?
They can plan complex trips, find the best rates, and modify existing reservations, similar to concierge services from premium credit cards.
How do I use Beacon Weeks and Getaways?
They’re separate search categories in the booking portal. Functionally, they work like other listings.

Trust & Legitimacy
How is Beacon different from Expedia, Booking.com, or Priceline?
Two ways:
1. Beacon is member-only; bookings are exclusive to members.
2. Prices are wholesale, without retail markups.
Is Beacon a timeshare or travel club that requires presentations?
No. We once sold memberships only through live presentations, but today no presentation is required to join.
